Hey, fellow Pokémon Trainers and TCG enthusiasts! The wait is over—the Battle Partners set is officially launching in Japan today, January 24th, 2025! This set is bringing back something special: Trainer's Pokémon!

What's in the Battle Partners Set?

"Battle Partners" introduces a dynamic new gameplay element, featuring powerful cards where iconic Trainers team up with their signature Pokémon. Expect to see familiar faces like N with Reshiram, Lillie with Clefairy, and Marnie with Grimmsnarl, alongside exciting new partnerships like Iono with Bellibolt and Hop with Zacian.

This set isn't just about powerful cards; it's a visual feast! Stunning artwork captures the unique bond between Trainers and their Pokémon, bringing these iconic duos to life. Expect innovative mechanics that encourage creative deck-building strategies, pushing the boundaries of Pokémon TCG gameplay.

To celebrate this exciting release, several special products will be available alongside "Battle Partners" in Japan. The "Battle Partners" Deck Build Box, similar to the English Trainer's Toolkit, provides players with a fantastic foundation for deck-building, including 10 booster packs, 171 cards, a card storage box, and card dividers.

For collectors, the N and Lillie Collection Files offer a unique experience. Each file includes a Terastal Holofoil promo card of a Trainer Pokémon (N's Zoroa or Lillie's Comfey), a stylish mini card folder, a Pokémon Coin, and 6 booster packs.

    Stage 1 (Evolves from Zorua)

    Ability Trade
    You must discard a card from your hand in order to use this Ability. Once during your turn, you may draw 2 cards.

     Night Joker: Choose 1 of your Benched N's Pokemon's attacks and use it as this attack.

    Lillie's Clefairy ex   – HP 190

     Basic Pokemon

    The Weakness of each of your opponent's  Pokemon in play is now (Apply Weakness as x2.)

     Full Moon Rondo: 20+ damage. This attack does 20 more damage for each Benched Pokemon (both yours and your opponent's.)

    Hop’s Zacian ex :M: – HP 230

    Basic Pokemon

     Close Cleave: 30 damage. This attack also does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

    :M::M::M: Brave Slash: 240 damage. During your next turn, this Pokémon can’t use Brave Slash.

    Iono's Bellibolt ex –  – HP200

    Stage 1 (Evolves from Tadbulb)

    Ability Rainbow DNA
    As often as you like during your turn, you may attach a Basic  Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Iono's Pokemon.

     Thunderous Bolt: 230 damage. During your next turn, this Pokemon can't attack.

    N's Reshiram –  – HP130

    Basic Pokemon

     Powerful Rage: 20x damage. This attack does 20 damage for each damage counter on this Pokemon.

     Virtuous Flame: 170 damage.

    Iono’s Kilowattrel  – HP120

    Stage 1 (Evolves from Wattrel)

     Ability Flash Draw
    You must discard a Basic  Energy card from this Pokemon in order to use this Ability. Once during your turn, you may draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand.

     Mach Bolt: 70 damage.

    Mamoswine ex – :F: – HP340

    Stage 2 – Evolves from Piloswine

    Ability Mammoth Carry
    Once during your turn, you may search your deck for a Pokémon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

    :F::F: Rumbling March: 180+ damage. This attack does 40 more damage for each Stage 2 Pokémon on your Bench.
